Adopt a Jack Russell Terrier (short coat)

Jack Russell Terrier (short coat) Dog

Jack the Dog needs a home

Jack is a black and white smooth-coated Jack, who came into rescue because his dad passed away. He is 10 years old. Jack is 12 inches tall and weighs 18 pounds.
Jack lived all his life in rural isolation with an elderly gentleman, so he is shy about meeting new people and new situations. He is slowly blossoming in his foster home, and we feel the ideal forever home for him will be quiet, rural or suburban with a big fenced yard, and have no children under 12 years old on site.
Jack is house-trained and uses a dog door competently. He was accustomed to being left alone a great deal and he is completely reliable in the house. He rides well in the car.
Jack is still learning how to walk on a leash, but slow and patient wins the day. He really enjoys just spending time with his people - no grabbing or pulling around - just safe, quiet companionship.
Jack is located in Eatonville, Washington. He has had a full dental and a number of small cosmetic cysts removed. His adoption fee is $100.
